Om Run is back ☺
- Race registrations closed on Monday night; Limited quantity of race bibs for the 5K, 10K and Half Marathon are going to be available onsite. To claim yours arrive early, by 7am on April 20 at the park.

The Om Mela, running races, good sumptuous food and best of all the companionship of the large Chinmaya Mission Family. This year we are including the Half marathon (13.1miles) in addition to the 5K and 10K races.
Due to limited participation the Relay Half Marathon has been canceled.

Volunteering

Brief History
Chinmaya Mission San Jose launched "OM Run" program in 2009 to bring the Chinmaya Family in the greater SF Bay Area together for a fun filled day of outdoor activities for both kids and adults. The main objective was to encourage our Balavihar Kids and all the adults to participate in this Running Program and to raise funds for the new Ashram the mission is planning to build in San Jose. Our first run was in 2010 and was a huge success! About 1800 people participated in this event. It became an instant success within the Chinmaya Community in the Bay Area. The event day was packed with 5K, 10K, Walkathon for kids & senior citizens, Jump house, Games and fun activities along with nice boutique stalls and food! Followed by a Half Marathon in Pescadero, CA. Following its success, we had another successful event in 2011 in Quarry Lakes in Fremont.
